Post-Doctoral Fellow |Structural & Earthquake Engineering
I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, where I worked in the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture. My research is centred on structural and earthquake-resistant design, with a focus on developing innovative solutions to enhance the resilience of buildings and infrastructure under seismic loading. My work integrates advanced analytical, numerical, and experimental approaches to address critical challenges in earthquake engineering. I am particularly committed to advancing sustainable and safe construction practices in seismically active regions by incorporating modern materials, adaptive damping systems, and performance-based design methodologies. I have actively collaborated with industry professionals to translate research outcomes into practical engineering applications, ensuring that proposed solutions are both resilient and environmentally responsible. My broader objective is to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world implementation, contributing to the development of safer, more efficient, and sustainable infrastructure systems. Through continuous engagement with emerging technologies and evolving design standards, I strive to enhance the durability and performance of structures subjected to seismic hazards. I remain dedicated to advancing the field of structural engineering through innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a strong commitment to societal impact.
